Canman’s acrylic painting “Cannibal Flower” is a striking blend of surrealism and symbolism, combining natural beauty with visceral horror. But at its core lies a disturbing twist—a gaping, fanged mouth emerging from the heart of the flower, surrounded by piercing eye-like shapes nestled in leaves. This July, visionary tattooer and fine artist Canman brings his bold botanical artwork to the ARTISTS on FIRE 2025 – A SMALLS SHOW, presented by Juniper Rag in collaboration with the Worcester Center for Crafts. Now in its fourth year, this juried exhibition highlights small-format original artwork by emerging and established artists from across New England.
