This November 2025, renowned visionary tattoo artist and painter Canman will return to live paint at the upcoming Deities and Demons Masquerade at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM), the iconic art sanctuary founded by legendary artists Alex and Allyson Grey. Hosted at Entheon, CoSM’s breathtaking temple of visionary art in Wappinger, NY, this immersive masquerade unites mystical expression, transformational music, and sacred creativity.
Honoring Art as a Spiritual Practice
For Canman, painting at CoSM is more than a performance—it's a pilgrimage. Deeply influenced by Alex and Allyson Grey’s visionary work, Canman shares the belief that creating art is a spiritual practice, a path to divine connection and inner awakening. Like Grey, Canman uses art as a bridge between the material and metaphysical, channeling higher consciousness through brush and ink.

Foundation for the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, formed in 1996 to create a permanent public exhibition of the Sacred Mirrors.
The Church of Sacred Mirrors, CoSM, established in 2008, is an interfaith church. Alex Grey & Allyson Grey are co-founders & Ministers of CoSM.
CoSM is a place of contemplation & worship for community honoring the practice of art as a spiritual path.

CoSM provides unique creative events & workshops in a spiritual context. Since January 2003, CoSM has celebrated an unbroken chain of monthly Full Moon Ceremonies.
One Sunday afternoon each month, Art Church assembles in the Library for an art and music meditation followed by a topical discussion relevant to a creative spiritual life. Filled with exquisite art and altars, Grey House offers day-visitors and overnight guests the Library, Parlor, Gallery, Mushroom Cafe, and CoSM Shop. The fully renovated commercial kitchen and restored Dining Hall serves meals throughout the week.
