Medway, MA—The local arts scene is buzzing with excitement as the newly formed Medway Art Association prepares to host its first public art exhibit at the historic Thayer Homestead. This milestone event marks the beginning of a new chapter for artists, art lovers, and cultural supporters in the greater Medway area. Canman and his wife Angela are both honored as new board members to be displaying new acrylic paintings and photography for this special event.
A NEW HOME FOR THE ARTS IN MEDWAY
Founded in early 2025, the Medway Art Association was created to foster a vibrant and inclusive art community in Medway, Massachusetts. The group brings together painters, sculptors, photographers, and multimedia artists of all levels—from emerging talent to seasoned professionals. With a mission centered around creativity, connection, and community engagement, the association aims to enrich the town’s cultural landscape through exhibitions, workshops, and public art initiatives.
INAUGURAL EXHIBIT AT THE THAYER HOMESTEAD
The Association’s debut exhibit will be held at the beautiful Thayer Homestead, a historic and beloved venue in the heart of Medway. This first show features works from founding members and guest artists, showcasing a diverse range of mediums and styles. From bold landscapes to contemporary abstracts, the exhibit offers something for every art enthusiast.
